Terms and Conditions

By choosing to ship with us, you agree and are legally bound to follow the terms and conditions stated here.

As your designated logistics partner, we are in charge of handling and transporting your precious cargo to your designated location. During such movement, sometimes unforeseen circumstances like theft, damage, or loss may occur. Although this is unlikely, we require you to pay insurance for your cargo. The insurance fee varies depending on the registered value of your package and is only required while your package is in transit. As such, this fee is fully refundable upon the successful delivery of your package.

1. Duties and Taxes

1.1 The receiver is responsible for all duties, taxes, and other charges imposed by customs or other governmental authorities on shipments.

1.2 Swift Logistics Solutions does not assume any liability for shipments abandoned in customs, and any such abandonment shall be at the risk and expense of the shipper.

1.3 We may advance payment of duties and taxes on behalf of the shipper, but this service is subject to an additional fee.

1.4 The shipper agrees to reimburse Swift Logistics Solutions for any duties and taxes we may advance on their behalf.

2. Return Shipments and Return Shipment Fees

2.1 In the event a shipment cannot be delivered, it will be returned to the shipper at the receiver’s expense.

2.2 Return shipment fees will be calculated based on the original shipping cost and any additional handling required.

2.3 The receiver agrees to pay all return shipment fees within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.

2.4 Swift Logistics Solutions reserves the right to dispose of shipments that cannot be returned if the shipper refuses to pay return shipment fees.

3. Payment and Insurance-Backed Refund

3.1 Payment for shipping services, including insurance fees, is due at the time of shipping unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

3.2 The insurance fee is calculated based on the declared value of the shipment and our current insurance rates.

3.3 In the event of loss, damage, or theft of an insured package, the shipper must file a claim within 30 days of the scheduled delivery date.

3.4 Upon verification of the claim, Swift Logistics Solutions will refund the full insurance fee and compensate the shipper for the declared value of the shipment, up to the maximum insured amount.

3.5 The insurance refund and compensation will be processed Swiftly upon delivery.

3.6 Swift Logistics Solutions reserves the right to investigate any claims and may require documentation to support the declared value of the shipment.

3.7 Insurance does not cover damages resulting from improper packaging, acts of nature, or any circumstances outside of our control.

3.8 The insurance fee refund is contingent upon successful delivery and does not apply to shipments that are returned or disposed of due to inability to deliver.

4. Liability Limitations

4.1 Swift Logistics Solutions’ liability is strictly limited to the declared value of the shipment, up to the maximum insured amount.

4.2 We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the loss, damage, or delay of a shipment that has not been insured.

4.3 By using our services, the shipper agrees to these liability limitations.

5. Amendments

5.1 Swift Logistics Solutions reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

5.2 Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

By using Swift Logistics Solutions’ services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

5. Discreet Packages

5.1 All packages registered as discreet must pay a discreet package fee depending on the value of the shipment.

5.8 The shipper agrees to indemnify Swift Logistics Solutions against any legal or financial consequences resulting from the shipment of illegal or prohibited items in discreet packages.

5.9 Discreet packages that are unclaimed or undeliverable will be held for a maximum of 30 days before being returned to the shipper or disposed of, at the shipper’s expense.

5.10 Swift Logistics Solutions is not responsible for any damage or loss of value resulting from necessary inspection or prolonged storage of discreet packages.
